The Sinfonietta x Spider-Verse
The Sinfonietta is on its first national tour! An extension of our NYC-based flagship ensemble, The Broadway Sinfonietta, is currently embarking on a 13-week, 70+ city tour throughout the United States. The tour presents the film Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse, with the film’s score performed live-to-picture by our all-women & majority women-of-color orchestra.

The Sinfonietta encompasses divisions of both for-profit work (such as Sinfonietta Productions and Sinfonietta Creative Management), and also has a Foundation arm.
There are three ways you can support the Sinfonietta, from a mere $5, all the way up to significant financial giving:
At the top right of our website, you can click “Buy Me A Coffee!”. These are $5 gifts that go straight into our ensemble childcare fund, which provides childcare to working mothers we hire onto gigs.
For giving between $100-$25,000, you can support the Sinfonietta via our fiscal sponsor. Email info@thesinfonietta.com for more information.
For giving $25,000 and above, we invite you to support the Sinfonietta Foundation, launching in Fall 2023. The Foundation will endow fellowships, assistantships, general financial assistance, child care, and grants to marginalized women & non-binary musicians in our community. Email info@thesinfonietta.com to be notified when the Foundation is live to receive support.
First Of Its Kind
On March 17th, 2023, The Broadway Sinfonietta performed the world premiere of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse LIVE at the Kings Theater in Brooklyn, NY.
At intermission, the show’s conductor Deanna Tham addressed the audience, acknowledging the all-women & majority women-of-color group performing for them.
